Subject: Running autorun offline

I need to run autoruns.exe automaticly on a number of images we created from windows systems.
I cant boot these systems so i need to run autoruns.exe offline. It seems however that autoruns.exe makes changes to the registry files when it is running.
We dont want the images to be changed so i tried to export all registry files with the full path to the windows registry files and the user files (NTUSER.DAT).
But it keeps failing. saying "The specified directory is not a Windows system root".
Is there something missing or is this even possible?
The end result should be that i can get lists of every user present on the system. And what runs at startup when these users login.
Thanks in advance!
