Thank you "Dax1792" for your support,
I finally understand how "sync.exe" works. Thank you. ![Smile Smile]()
Downloaded Sync.zip
- extracted "Sync.zip"
- on my user-admin laptop (or log on as Adminstrator)
- copied sync.exe" to clipboard
- pasted "sync.exe" into C:\Windows\System32 ... folder
To use "sync"
Start > Search:=cmd.exe
- if no Search on start ... Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt
RClick "cmd.exe" on results list (or Command Prompt) > "Run as Administrator"
- Command window opens at "C:\Windows\System32"
Type: sync -r -e <drive letter> ... note space between sync + -r & -e & <drive letter>
eg, C:\Windows\System32\sync -r -e k ... final "K" is the drive letter to be released and ejected
[Enter] key
- process to release and show an eject notice can take several seconds, be patient.
