Background

attempting to move my Itunes backup folder to a nas folder to gain space on my C drive

1) I have moved the itunes backup folder and data from my C drive "C:\Documents and Settings\Nick\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\backup" to a nas folder "\\Nas01\nicksdata\Itunes\Backup"

2) Attempted Junction command:-

junction "c:\documents and Settings\nick\application data\apple computer\mobilesync\backup""\\nas01\nicksdata\itunes\backup"

Error setting junction for c:\documents andSettings\nick\application data\apple

 computer\mobilesync\backup:

The data present in the reparse point buffer is invalid

Thinking Junction/Dos does not UNC tried the following:-

junction "c:\documents and Settings\nick\application data\apple computer\mobilesync\backup""g:\nicksdata\itunes\backup"

Unfortunately result is the same error.

Version Info:-

Junction ver 1.06 used

Fully patched XP Pro.

Would be grateful for any suggestion.
