Subject: Whois v1.11: "'whois' is not recognized..."

After installing Whois v1.11 the "whois" command does nothing:
C:\Users\Tad>whois google.com'whois' is not recognized as an internal or external command,operable program or batch file.
Attempting to reinstall by running whois.exe again simply flashes the command prompt for a second. Did I manage to install this incorrectly?
