Hi. In Windows Internals Part 1 Sixth edition Chapter 2 you can find the figure 2-3 Windows architecture. I have not understood if there are functions implemented in Windows Subsytem DLLs as Kernel32.dll, Advapi32.dll, User32.dll and Gdi32.dll which can call Windows executive system services without referencing Ntdll.dll. I ask that because in the figure you can see two arrows: the first stops at Ntdll.dll, the second seems to get through Ntdll.dll. Thanks.
