I just tried version 2.0
I got the same error message on Windows 2003. I chose "Use vhdx" and "Use Volume Shadow copy"
Copied the c: drive to the d: drive which is local.
I got the error but the file is 25 gigs, might still be good, I will try it out and see if it's valid or not...
I'll post further detail tomorrow
