Subject: RAMMap and UNC paths?
Posted: 09 January 2014 at 12:25pm
Hi,
I'm examing Windows file mapping using RAMMap, and I find that the file summary and file details tabs seem to show only local paths. I'm observing an application that accesses an MS Access Database (.mdb), and if I place that locally (C:\....), I find cache information in RAMMap as expected. If I place it on a UNC path, ProcMon information and performance indicate that this file is cached the same as the local file, but I can't find any information on this file in the RAMMap file tabs.
Is this a limitation of RAMMap or am I missing something?
Thanks, Martin
