Subject: Sysinternals - Desktops, more hotkeys / usage?

Hello, I'm a migrating user from ubuntu to windows 8
I missed the feature of multiple desktops so I got sysinternals - desktops,
but I noticed that the binary only allows configuring the 'switch into desktops' with a very specific and limited set of hotkeys combinations to use, (for example, I'd like to use CTRL+ALT+ARROWS to move into the desktop with the appropriate coordinates)
plus, some features are missing such as 'move current window into desktop to the left/desktop number 4' etc...

am I missing something obvious? are there more hidden features via command line tools?
or is this really it? is what I'm seeing from the gui, all that there is to sysinternals-desktop?

also, must it really load a newly visited desktop from scratch?
do you support a way of editing the amount of desktops?
is there another way other then taskkill or taskmanager gui kill to close it?

by the way, do you support desktop transitions effects such as cube or any other?

would appreciate a response.
