I hate to come off as a doofus, but there are no instructions on how to use the Desk.2 program.I probably have too many items on the desktop so I need to reduce the clutter and this seems like a useful program, assuming I set it up right without a printed instruction sheet. So I'm rying to wing it to set up my desktops.

I got it installed and can see how you switch between desktops to set up alternate desktops.
I see that If I press on the 4 desktops to set up the alternate desktops, all the original icons on my original desktop are relocated to the new desktop.
Do I just delete the icons/shortcuts/documents from the OLD desktop that I don't want on Desktop 2,3, and 4? If this is the process, then I could have one desktop for utilities, one for program shortcuts, one for documents etc. just by eliminating all the items I don't want in that particular desktop, right? Is that the way it works?
I don't want to screw this up so is there any danger of losing one of these icons/documents/shortcuts permanently? Any way to move individual icons/shortcuts back and forth If I'm not satisfied with where they are?
Thanks for your patience and help.
