Disk2vhd : VHD blue screen on VM Hyper-V and VirtualBox

To all experts,

I have attached a WORKING physical disk (contains Win7 Pro, single partition) to my primary Win7 ENT computer (single partition) via USB HDD reader. When I ran disk2vhd, I have selected the D drive, and skip the C, because D drive contains a working OS, and I would like to host it in VM. After I have hookup the VHD, I keep getting blue screens and VM keep restarting.

I have tried following to fix the MBR, but no luck, please help

- standard repair mode failed

- BootRec.exe /fixmbr and /fixboot and rebuildbcd

- bootsect /nt60 SYS /mbr (restore MBR)

any help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
