Subject: Undo Close Tab

I have the newest version of Firefox (28.0). It's not any kind of application, it's the browser that won't let me access "Undo Close Tab" in the context menu when I close a tab and then change my mind. The "Undo Close Tab" option is still there but grayed out so clicking on it accomplishes nothing. Thing is I've been all over my menu bar and can't find anywhere to access the context menu commands to try to rectify this.
