Hello Ron,
I checked with the developers and we can indeed change the contents of the .bat file. That's a great idea. I think I've been stuck troubleshooting this from lower layers and trying to intercept syscalls and forgot about the good old stdout/stderr. Another problem was I assumed everything was untouchable in the application.
Thanks a lot for your insight! Next week we're try to reproduce the problem and I'll come back here to tell what was going on (hopefully!).
