If you cannot run BGInfo locally then yes you have some sort of permissions problem. Do you have Domain Policies that stop users from running software (i.e. you are only allowed to run approved software and BGInfo is not approved??). Also go back to the GPO setup and try renaming the BAT to CMD I believe that Logon scripts are handled differently based on what type they are. BATs are old from Windows 95/98 days and CMD form Windows NT/2000/XP days and then VBS until now and PowerShell going forward. -WS
