Subject: Determine the Process Using a COM Port

Based on the Com port number, tell the user what program is using the com port so that they may shut it off.
You can find out what Process is using your Com Port with Process Explorer. On the Menu Bar go to Find - Find Handle or DLL. Assuming for example Com 1 is Serial0 just type Serial0 in the search box and it will show you the Process that has a Handle to the Com Port.
