Crosstalk, click in audio signals, Display monitor flicker, and last to be listed, loss of transmitted data between network devices. Based on your further description, you meant Network Jitter. This I would call Numeric or Statistical in nature, which is what I stated in my original query. Given your original question regarding redirection and viewing by eyes only, I surmised this may be a visual 'jitter' you may be describing. I was wrong.
Given the statistical nature of your problem, a scientific measurement would be needed to identify why redirecting to 2>NUL impacts the results. Since you have 'moved' to another product that is not possible or desirable.
