two features wanted from TCPView: sorting and filter
For sorting functions, currently TCPView only sorts by 1 column.
This is inefficient when we'd like to monitor the connections for a specific process.
It would be the best if a sorting order of multiple columns can be used (by process, PID descending, remote address, connection state etc) and kept upon automatic refresh.
For filter function is used to filter the output list.
Since the list will be expanding or condensing as connections are opened and closed, the connection will be pushed out of screen all of a sudden. (typical case is a browser process is started or terminated, a lot of connections will be opened or updated to update [System Process]).
Being able to monitor a single process or remote host or connection state will be very useful.
Thanks. Hope can see the new features coming up in future releases.
