Windows 8 x64 doesn't have issue. (two systems)
I've not tried it on any 32-bit systems. Think I have a one available under a VM somewhere...
Yes, confirmed. Not an issue for the 32-bit system. It was a Vista x86 SP0 system under VPC2007 though. (none of the Vista 64-bit SP2 systems were virtualized - not that it should matter)
The issue as described in the original post, applies to online systems only.
Since I'm using a Windows Vista SP0 install disc as the PE, pretty much none of the files verify; with sigcheck or otherwise. (Never tested it out, but SigCheck does have a "-C" option.)
