ExMerge.exe is a freeware tool provided by Microsoft to extract the emails from Exchange database (even from corrupted as well) into PST format of MS Outlook.

But it fails sometime, Don't worry you need to opt this reliable http://www.recoverydeletedfiles.com/exchange-server-edb-recovery.html which is eligible to repair Exchange mailbox and convert entire EDB file data into Outlook PST file in well-manner.

You can easily resolve exchange server corruption issue such as Jet engine error, Log files error, File size error, Software & hardware disputes, Virus attack etc as well as convert corrupt or inaccessible exchange server edb files into healthy outlook pst files by using

Hi there,

We have a very large SAN volume (12TB) that I am trying to zero the free space (7TB) on.

For the past 2 days, it's been frozen @ 52%. There are 2 temp files, one of 4TB and one of 230GB.

Does Sdelete v1.61 support volumes of this size or is this a bug?

Thanks.

Is it possible to add an option to zero a percentage or amount of free space on a volume?

We have a SAN that supports free space reclamation. This works by detecting zeros. The Sdelete -z option is generally great for reclaiming free space on SAN volumes.

We have a couple of mission critrical apps (database clusters etc) that will fail or not function properly if the free space on the volume is all used, even for very short (milisecond) time periods.

Hello all.

I am kind of having a problem that I cannot figure out.  I have spent two days on it and I am still getting an error 1603.  I have verified the shared and that the file does exist.  I can do a net use and map the drive.  When I check the mapped drive, the msi file is there.  I think I am missing something.  Here is what I have done.

psexec @list.txt -u "Domain\User" -p "Password" cmd /c "msiexec.exe /i \\Domain\FileData\Shared\Everyone\MTMS_Install\xagtSetup_21.33.0_universal.msi" /qn > installComplete.txt
Pause

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It sure would be nice if there were a 64-bit version of ZoomIt for running in 64-bit WinPE.

Answering my own post...

Never mind this request. Spoke too soon without thinking about it. I was able to grab the ZoomIt64.exe that gets extracted from the 32-bit ZoomIt.exe when running on a 64-bit system. I forgot that most of the Sysinternals tools have the 64-bit binary embedded in them. Duh!

One caveat when running ZoomIt from a 64-bit WinRE command prompt:

The registry key HKCU\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run doesn't exit by default. It must be created before ZoomIt will allow you to get past the configuration dialog. ZoomIt will throw an error if that key doesn't exist.

I would like to setup BGinfo to refresh on dock/undock.  Mainly because of the change in resolution messes up the background.
I was going to setup a scheduled task which trigged on a certain event but I can't find the right event ID. We run Lenovo and HP but I assume that the event would be the same.

Does anyone else have any ideas how to do it or what event ID to use?

Still dealing with a system that is dragging. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I can't run with the audio driver disabled. I'm running 6.0.1.7746 released 2/18/2016 and I can't find anything newer.

Miscellaneous Utilities : RegJump

fwiw, I've been using RegJump for a number of years and it has been a valuable utility.

Today I found that neither the first version I downloaded (1.01) nor the current version (1.1) worked.

When executed, the registry opened, but opened at the key that was selected the last time regedit was closed.  This is different from the last time I used it several months ago.

I finally tracked down the problem, and posting it in case it may be of value to others.

RegJump must be executed from either a command prompt that is _initially_ "Run As Administrator" or from a shortcut _who's properties are set to "Run As Administrator"_

When otherwise executed RegJump runs, and the windows dialog box asking permission to run as administrator appears and is answered, regedit opens but does not find the key that RegJump was launched with.

fwiw, version 1.1's option to use the -C argument to pass the clipboard containing a registry key is a MAJOR improvement since that argument can be included in a shortcut.

Suggest that the need to set "Run As Administrator" information be added to the download page at;
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/regjump.aspx?

Trying to do a mass install of a msi file.  I would like to know if there is a way to get a report, when ran, of any computers that had a problem during the install. I can get it to run using a list text file, however, it does not report any missed computers because the computer being off, etc.  Is there even a way to do that?

in the latest trace you send me via PM I see a large CPU usage of the SYSTEM process. Here it comes from Zeoring the memory (ntoskrnl.exe!KeZeroPages) before Windows can put new data into the memory. If your browser is (is based on) Chrome, this is known and happens due to HW acceleration of the browser. Turn this off.

NExt you have a high CPU usgae of svchost.exe which is the Windows Update service and scans for new updates:

This is super slow. I posted on superuser an guide how to improve search speed:

The audiodg.exe CPU usage still comes from Audio APO processing.

Posted: 18 June 2016 at 4:21pm

Hi guys,
I'd like to check if there are any global hooks (for example: WH_MOUSE_LL and WH_KEYBOARD_LL) if they are active and if so, where are they? (I mean process, thread & func address).
I'd like to check periodically if such hooks are present and if so, alert myself.

I've got actually no idea where to start searching. Where is it stored? I've seen some tools listing those hooks, but I've got no idea how.
Does anyone here know where should I start searching & coding?

Thank you! :)

Hey guys, I'm using windows 8.1 and Windows Sysinternals multidesktop v2.0  from https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/cc817881

So this is the problem: when I run the computer and I click alt +2 I can enter in the 2nd virtual desktop normally but after like 1 minute or so, the whole screen of that desktop turns blue and I can't even go to a folder, not ever windows + E works. I tried creating the 3rd desktop and it goes directly to the blue screen. Any idea what's going on?

Thank you!

Troubleshooting : Cannot access shared C: with permissions on server

Subject: Cannot access shared C: with permissions on server
Posted: 19 June 2016 at 3:28pm

We have a win7 Pro server (desktop) and 2 win7 Pro laptops, and from one the laptops can reach all the the shared folders on our server. The second laptop can access all shared folders except the server itself (C drive). C: is shared with permissions set on server, and the workgroup shares the same name on all machines.
I have searched the folder name (\\server\C) in the registry (of the non-accessing machine) and, although, finding it, can see no prohibitions there. Have also searched services.msc and Computer Management, and can find nothing that would prohibit the one machine from accessing the C drive of the server machine.
What am I missing?
