Getting this script to work for every system is difficult. The script has issues with Teamed (bonded or trunked) NICs. Then it acts differently for 2003 R2, 2008 R2, 2012 and 2012 R2. Then VM, Hyper-V, etc. it acts differently too. You will have to tweak it for your system.
