PsTools : Using PSExec in Windows 7

I am running Instant Effects Presenter on a host PC (ut90dat-105672) to display to a presentation board. We need to do this from a remote PC and we need the host PC to be Windows 7 for security reasons.
Originally our host PC was running Windows XP and it worked. Now when we run the batch commands we get an icon that lights up on the taskbar then goes away. The remote PC has PSTOOLS/PSEXEC under the C: drive and the host PC has Presenter with FXDPlayer.
A VBS script is run as the first thing to set the file name that is to be used.

Then this batch file is run from the remote PC: update2.bat
>rem Note: PsExec needs to be installed on the machine running this batch file, not on ut90dat-105672.
"c:\installs\pstools\psexec.exe" \\ut90dat-105672 taskkill /f /im fxdplayer.exe /t
"c:\installs\pstools\psexec.exe" \\ut90dat-105672 -i 0 -d "c:\fxd player files\startfxdplayer.bat"

pause<

StartFXDPlayer.bat reads like this:
>"C:\Program Files (x86)\Instant Effects\3D FXD Player\FXDPlayer.exe" -x "c:\fxd player files\Sept 23.fxd"<

We have the UAC turned off in both PCs and the user is an administrator on both PCs. If we run the StartFXDPlayer.bat file from the host PC it runs fine. Please help.
